Set in the dunes of Zeeland, the Netherlands, combining a sturdy yet modern design form the perfect interior for this dune villa. Upon first glance, the facade appears to have a lot of windows, which harmoniously connects the inside of the space and the exterior scenic view. The view becomes an extension of the rooms and this gives a breathtaking effect, especially at sunset.

The house itself was designed by BNLA Architects, who invited us for a partnership right from the start of the concept development. For this project, we have been able to create the vision for this special property as a strong team. The house is assembled in an interesting manner using several split levels that correspond to the varying dune landscape heights. The experience of the surrounding natural environment is maximised in this way. The environment has strongly been taken into account when choosing the materials for the facade. The house disappears into the sand as it merges with the forest thanks to the use of natural stone and sustainable materials like wood.

Using a variety of natural stone types and wood tones, the interior of the house has been made to feel cosy and organic. This gives the house a rugged yet stylish character where we combined solid metals and rough natural textures with black accents. Down to the last detail, everything has been meticulously designed in our partnership with the architects and landscapers. This gives the house a coherent feeling blending the inside with the outside.
