Breman Brasserie, as part of The Hoxton Llyod situated in the Eastern docklands in Amsterdam and named after the original architect of the building, is the dining concept situated in the hotel.

 

Reminiscing the original use of the building of housing migrants who were travelling to South America, Brasserie Breman also gets inspired by influences of the European and South American kitchens. We extrapolated subtle reminders of this in the translation of the design. The bar set in the middle of the space is the focus point of the brasserie. Surrounding the bar, the layout and planting have been inspired from studies of old pictures that were found of the original state of the building. The big open space which let beautiful light shine in, sets the perfect tone for a combination of warm and cheerful colors, creating a delicate balance of playful light and enveloping hospitality.
