Set along the Schinkel in Amsterdam, Staal Kade reimagines the workplace as a warm, multifunctional club environment shaped by the structural clarity of Arthur Staal’s architecture. The design softens the building’s brutalist frame with natural materials, soft textiles, greenery, and a calm, contemporary palette.

Across 560 m², a sequence of flexible lounges, focus areas, meeting and dining rooms, productivity zones, and a central bar flows seamlessly together, guided by the building’s grid and its connection to the surrounding landscape. Recycled ceramic tiles, cork flooring, poured concrete, and oak details bring warmth and tactility, while curtains and acoustic elements create intimate pockets within the open plan.

Staal Kade offers a thoughtful, inviting environment where people can gather, work, and reconnect throughout the day.
