De Willem, situated in the iconic Haarlemmerpoort in Amsterdam consists of two new hospitality concepts, the Café and the Restaurant. The building itself speaks a great volume of history, which was the main inspiration behind the design concept, combing the neoclassical style with a contemporary touch.

 

The Café, taking on elements of the classic French brasserie style creates the feeling of a cozy and relaxed dining ambiance. Enjoying in an intimate setting where vintage stools are combined with warm fabrics and marble flooring.

 

The restaurants holds a more high-end style, incorporating rich materials and fabrics with new bespoke pieces and subtle designed lighting. A bespoke bench follows the beautiful curve of the building, achieving the perfect combination of upholding the history of the building while creating a new functionality to the space.
