A former fourteenth century convent based in the heart of Maastricht now holds the prestigious 4-star boutique Hotel Monastère by Vondel hotels. The hotel is spread across 6 floors and includes 52 distinctive rooms, a light and airy restaurant named Louie, as well as a bar and meeting room spaces. Each room is unique in size and shape but all exude the character and elegance of the historical building.

Upon entering your room, you immediately feel as though you’re entering into your own Parisian pied a terre, complete with original moulding and pastel blues which complement the existing stone fireplaces giving a chic and sophisticated feeling to each space. The beds are luxuriously soft and the bathrooms have waterfall showers. The hotel has been designed to feel like a unique escape suitable for modern city travellers.
