Hotel Pontsteiger is established on the ground floor of an extraordinary architectural building in the vivid area of the Houthavens, along the water of the Ij. The hotel holds 27 bedrooms and suites, and their own café Pontsteiger.

 

The front of the building will take on a variation of green and golden colored radiance, as a result of the natural light from the sun facing the building. The full glass façade, with curved shapes, follows the movement of the surrounding water. The interior is complementing the stunning views, water reflections and ships passing by through the use of natural light with bold and raw materials creating a warm atmosphere. The wooden ceilings of the overhanging building have been carried through within, partly revealing the uncovered concrete structure. Mostly neutral tones are combined with some highlight of warm amber and moss green, complementing the exterior and the colors coming from the water reflections. Luxurious suites with freestanding baths, deluxe rooms and family rooms are decorated with soft carpets, fine mosaic, reflective materials and rich fabrics. All equipped with the best showers and most comfortable beds. Staying next to the historic city centre, together with the special views overlooking the water will make this a unique experience.
