Nestled within a centuries-old building in the heart of Amsterdam, Zum Barbarossa is a concealed, intimate cocktail bar that seamlessly blends historic charm with a seductive ambiance. The design combines the romanticism of a classic Parisian bar with subtle nautical touches that hint at the venue’s culinary offerings. Nicemakers anchored the main space with a custom-laid mosaic floor and a striking central bar topped with chunky Rosa Verona marble. The moody, sophisticated atmosphere is further layered with rich copper reds, algae-green velvets, black wrought iron, and glowing affogato onyx tabletops.
