Situated within Amsterdam’s historic Hotel de L’Europe, this project reimagines the MENDO bookstore as an intimate, contemporary English library and living room. Designed for flexibility, the space features a multifunctional central table and decorative Dedar fabric curtains that can instantly transform the retail environment into an evening event setting. The warm, inviting atmosphere is layered with custom rugs by Frankly Amsterdam, carefully considered lounge seating, and a curated mix of vintage and modern furniture pieces.
