Situated on the ground floor of an iconic architectural landmark in Amsterdam's vibrant Houthavens district, this interior design project encompasses 27 luxury rooms, suites, and the standalone Café Pontsteiger. The interior concept embraces the sweeping views of the IJ river through a curved, full-glass facade, pulling the water's natural light and shifting green-and-gold reflections deep into the space. Nicemakers balanced the raw concrete structure of the building with warm wooden ceilings, anchoring the design in a neutral color palette accented by rich amber and moss-green tones. Outfitted with bespoke mosaic detailing, reflective surfaces, and plush textiles, the luxurious guest rooms and suites offer a highly sophisticated, tactical waterfront experience next to the historic city center.
