PENTHOUSE MAASTRICHT

Luxury Residential Interior Design & Brutalist Loft Architecture

This ambitious adaptive reuse project transforms a former 1960s office space and nursing home into a spectacular, three-level concrete penthouse offering panoramic views over Maastricht.

Nicemakers stripped the high-rise interior down to its raw structural shell, utilizing the bare concrete walls, ceiling, and columns as a unique architectural canvas. The design splits the residence into two distinct spheres connected by a basalt stairwell and textured glass panels: a warm, feminine "salon" lounge and pantry on the lower floor, and a rugged, industrial penthouse loft above. Layered with rare vintage furnishings sourced from galleries across Milan, Paris, and New York, the finished home beautifully balances brutalist lines with a warm, lived-in sophistication.
