Tucked away in Amsterdam’s prestigious Museum Quarter neighborhood, this private townhouse was custom-designed for an art collector with a deep passion for Art Deco aesthetics.

 

The interior architecture honors traditional historic details, highlighting ornate cornices, rose-adorned ceilings, and a bespoke plaster panel featuring a striking stucco relief. Nicemakers spent months sourcing European flea markets, antique fairs, and hidden warehouses to curate an authentic collection of original Art Deco pieces. Blending these heritage finds with contemporary elegance and mid-century Italian furnishings, the final design transforms the home into a sophisticated personal sanctuary and a living art gallery.
